OMEGA EUROPEAN MASTERS 2012

Richie Ramsay reigns in the Swiss Alps

Richie Ramsay cruised to a very comfortable victory in the Omega European Masters with a final round of 66 (-5) and a total of 267 strokes (-16). This was worth a prize money of 350'000 Euro

The 29 years old Scotsman mastered his contenders more or less without problems. In convincing mood he was in command from the third green. His masterpiece came on the 14th when he eagled this par 5 and progressed to -17.
At the end, Marcus Fraser, Fredrik Andersson Hed, Romain Wattel and Danny Willett were four shots back in second, they and the rest of the field having been left trailing in the overnight leader's wake.

Swiss amateur Benjamin Rusch (+5 Sunday, 290) shared the last spot of the 81 players who made the cut.
