At an altitude of 1,140m, right in the heart of the village of Lens, this lake is fed by the overflow from another lake (Lac des Miriouges). This stretch of water is a calm and serene place for passers-by to stop, and can be admired from the Fondation Opale terrace, an attractive place for a break on your walk. It is also not far from the famous Christ-Roi statue, and the lake is also a departure or finish point for lots of other walks to explore with the family.
