The Pfyn-Finges Nature Park goes from Gampel to Crans-Montana, covering an area of 327 km2. The thirteen municipalities in the region have been awarded the status of Nature Park of National Importance for their outstanding natural and landscape values. Their aim is to preserve and enhance the region's traditional cultural and natural landscapes, to promote sustainable economic development, and to raise awareness and educate the local population.
The protected area of Pfyn forest is also part of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, which covers an area of about 20 km2.

The Pfyn-Finges Nature Park region and the protected area of the Pfyn forest can be visited at any time.

The Park's municipalities are: Agarn, Albinen, Crans-Montana, Gampel-Bratsch, Guttet-Feschel, Inden, Leuk, Leukerbad, Oberems, Salgesch, Sierre, Turtmann-Unterems, Varen.

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as two weeks of annual closure over Christmas/New Year.
