An interview with Philippe Revaz

Meet Philippe Revaz. Born in 1974 in Vernayaz in Valais, he is a producer and presenter of the 7.30pm news programme on RTS. With a degree in literature, he began his career as a freelance journalist in Fribourg, then worked as a correspondent in Geneva for Radio Lac and RSR. From 2003 to 2007, he was a parliamentary correspondent at the Federal Palace and then producer in charge of the Forum programme. From 2014 to 2019, he was a correspondent in the USA and, since the summer of 2019, he has been producing and presenting the RTS television news.

In conversation with Romain Clivaz, he explores the workings of this daily news programme which, for him, like the village square, should bring people together. He will also share his experience as a correspondent in the United States, where he spent five years analysing American current affairs.
