Récital exceptionnel de Benjamin Bernheim
30.12.2026 (booking required)
CHF 50 - CHF 250
Chapelle St Christophe - Crans-Montana
Rue Centrale 7
3963 Crans-Montana
Deeply connected to Crans-Montana and profoundly affected by the tragedy, tenor Benjamin Bernheim is joined by pianist Carrie-Ann Matheson for a special charity recital. All proceeds will go directly towards helping burn survivors cover essential costs that are not reimbursed by insurance.
Where does your donation go?
Funds raised will be channelled through the Fondation Planète Enfants Malades to a committee chaired by Professor Anthony de Buys Roessingh, Chief Physician and Coordinator of the Burns Unit at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). The committee carefully reviews each request and reimburses eligible expenses relating to both physical and psychological recovery.
Why is your support so important?
In Switzerland, young people with severe burns who are still at school or have not yet started an apprenticeship are covered by compulsory health insurance (LAMal), rather than accident insurance. This leaves families facing substantial out-of-pocket expenses. Recovering from severe burns can take years and requires the care of many different healthcare specialists, often with lasting physical and psychological effects.
Your donation will make a tangible difference by covering what insurance does not: specialist equipment, therapeutic skincare and sun protection, nutritional supplements, medical appointments, support for siblings and physical activities.
