2 January 2026
Following the tragic events that have affected our destination, Crans-Montana is in mourning and holds in its thoughts all those who have been impacted.
At this time, the destination is welcoming many holidaymakers. We wish to inform them that Crans-Montana, along with most activities, restaurants and shops, remains open, offering everyone the opportunity to find a sense of warmth and comfort. We kindly invite our visitors to enjoy these services calmly and with respect.
All opening information is available on the activity pages of our website and through the digital platforms of our partners. Crans-Montana remains accessible via the usual roads and public transportation.
We also call for respect for the ongoing work taking place at the site of the tragedy and ask anyone seeking information to rely solely on official communications from the relevant authorities.
We further reiterate the importance of caution in order not to place unnecessary pressure on hospitals, and we remind visitors that many clinics in the region are prepared to receive non-life-threatening emergencies.
The tragedy affecting Crans-Montana today is immense, and our thoughts go out to the victims and their families.
The municipalities of Crans-Montana, in partnership with the CMS de Sierre, have set up a psychological support service for people affected by this event. Consultations take place in Crans-Montana and are available by appointment. Appointments can be booked from Friday 2 January by calling 076 834 97 05, between 16:00 and 19:00.
From Saturday 3 January 2026, consultations will be available from 10:00 to 18:00. Sessions are held in the conference room to the right of the Maison du Tourisme, Route des Arolles 4, 3963 Crans-Montana.
