Crans-Montana is preparing for a year full of major bike events which will be taking place over the coming months. For several years now, Crans-Montana has been positioning itself as a bike destination par excellence, thanks to its limitless playground and a variety of possibilities for all cyclists. With the UCI 2025 World Championships in mind, it hosts national and international events every year. The Enduro World Series - the World Cup in the discipline - was held here in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, it was a thrill to host the finish of a Giro d’Italia stage, and also the Swiss Mountain Bike Championships a few weeks later.

Through its routes along the Rhone and in its magnificent alpine environment, experience an unforgettable discovery. Two races (La Via Alpina and La Via Rodano) take place on the territory of Crans-Montana. These courses are made for sportsmen who want to challenge themselves. The Nova Eroica Switzerland wants to keep the spirit of tradition with the vintage bikes and at the same time combine it with modernity with the Gravel bikes. Therefore you will find different routes for the bike of your choice.

Crans-Montana will host a WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series event in two disciplines: Cross-Country and Short Track. These competitions will see the best athletes in the world compete on a demanding course between the centre of Crans-Montana and Lake Chermignon.
The races promise to be very exciting, with enthusiastic crowds watching the world's elite compete on a course where some sections will also be used for the Cross-Country World Championships in 2025. As the event takes place in the centre of Crans-Montana, access is easy, allowing everyone to enjoy the spectacle and cheer on the athletes along the course.

GRAAALPS is an ultra-distance Gravel race, which is semi-supported and crosses 750 kilometres through the Alps, with no less than 18,000m of ascent. Starting in Mandelieu (France), the cyclists will cross the Alps on roads through 3 countries - France, Italy and Switzerland - to reach Crans-Montana, via magnificent routes and legendary mountain passes. The invitation is open to any elite racers and enthusiasts who want to share this adventure. As participants traverse these exceptional routes, they will be captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes. It's not just a leisurely ride though, it’s a race against time, against others, and ultimately against yourself.
And the Gravel event doesn't stop there: a Gravel Festival will be held in Crans-Montana over 3 days, from 19 to 21 July. On the programme: a variety of discovery distances, bike tests, introductions for children and a variety of events throughout the weekend.

The Tour des Stations aims to conquer the most difficult passes in the heart of Valais, where amateur road cyclists push their limits. This competition is an endurance race offering an exceptional sporting challenge linking the region's resorts in a characteristically grandiose environment. Several different distances are proposed, including the most difficult one, the Ultrafondo, which will be stopping off in Crans-Montana on 5 August. This legendary route offers an altitude gain as high as Everest (8,848 metres of positive height gain) in a day, a real sporting feat for any cyclist embarking on this adventure.
