The ski area remains open during the World Ski Championships

24 June 2026

From 1 to 14 February 2027, Crans-Montana will welcome the world's best skiers for an exceptional event: the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Organising the races will naturally require a few adjustments across the ski area, but the vast majority of pistes will remain fully open and operational. In practical terms:

  • The ski area will be fully accessible throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays, operating as usual.
  • Only two competition pistes, Mont-Lachaux and Nationale, will be reserved for racing and therefore largely closed from 25 January to 15 February 2027.
  • The link between the Crans-Cry d'Er and Violettes areas will remain available via the tunnels beneath the Nationale piste and the Col du Pochet.
  • The Bellalui piste will occasionally be reserved for training sessions.

Stay tuned. New information will be updated regularly on our website.
