Immerse yourself in the magic of the stars on the Lantern Path

Can't wait to experience the magic of winter? From 6 December 2024* to 9 March 2025*, Crans-Montana invites you to take a trip to the edge of the Universe on the legendary Lantern Path between Etang Long and Lac de la Moubra.

This year, the 2km-long snowy trail will be illuminated by six captivating light art installations by local and international artists which combine art and stellar mysteries. The trail is also a playground for younger visitors, with a fun treasure hunt which leads them to explore the Universe.

Enchanting events

New for this year, a unique immersive experience "Synesthesia" will move into the large clearing, offering live piano concerts enhanced with lighting effects on Saturday evenings, and also on a few other dates.

In addition, the Hameau de Mayens, an unmissable stop on the route, will offer entertainment every Friday evening with an eclectic programme of concerts, light shows and fire performances which will make the walk a unique experience. Be amazed at “Winter Wine & Music" and "Entertainment on the Lantern Path" evenings, while you enjoy a glass of local wine, mulled wine or an alpine raclette.

A gourmet stopover

To prolong the magic, treat yourself to an exclusive experience by booking a gourmet evening in a traditional mayen and sampling local dishes in a warm and intimate setting. These private bookings are limited to just one group per evening, so book early to guarantee your place.
