Known for its Alpine panoramas and sunny ski area, Crans-Montana is also a vibrant cultural destination. Throughout the year, the resort offers a rich artistic scene where exhibitions, music and creative encounters come together, inviting visitors and locals alike to discover art in all its forms.
This spring, Crans-Montana will host a wide range of concerts, performances, talks and installations in public spaces. Here are some of the cultural highlights to add to your diary in the coming weeks.
March: talks, theatre and music
March promises a lively programme combining reflection, humour and musical exploration.

In this personal and musical narrative, the accordionist looks back on thirty years of passion for his instrument. Between success, obstacles and artistic renewal, he shares the story of his journey with the audience.
- From 12 to 22 March 2026, theatre takes centre stage with Dracula (Anabela). This quirky comedy by Cédric Jossen playfully revisits the famous Gothic novel. Here, literature’s most legendary vampire reveals a rather unexpected trait: an allergy to haemoglobin. A witty and inventive adaptation promising a thoroughly entertaining evening.
- On 14 March 2026, those interested in entrepreneurship and design can meet Carole Hübscher, president of Caran d’Ache. During this public discussion, she will share her experience leading the iconic Geneva company and her perspective on innovation and creativity.

- On Monday 16 March 2026, an evening discussion will explore the theme of youth mental health. Organised alongside the exhibition «Ça va toi?» “How are you?”, the event invites the public to reflect on the psychological challenges facing younger generations today.

Meanwhile, those interested in science and innovation can attend the film-lecture The man who saw the future, dedicated to Federico Faggin, the Italian physicist, inventor and entrepreneur known in Silicon Valley. The screening will be preceded by a discussion with the protagonist himself and director Marcello Foa.
April: performances, cinema and classical music
Spring continues in Crans-Montana with an equally rich cultural line-up in April.

- On Sunday 12 April 2026, art lovers can join a guided tour of the ROOTS exhibition at Fondation Opale. Led by the exhibition’s co-curator Samuel Gross, a curator and art critic, the visit offers insight into the works and themes of the show through the eyes of one of its creators.

Exhibitions to discover throughout the season
Alongside the one-off events, several exhibitions invite visitors to discover art at their own pace during a stay in Crans-Montana.
- Among the major highlights is the exhibition by sculptor Michel Bassompierre. Installed in the resort’s streets and hotels, seven monumental sculptures depicting bears and an emperor penguin transform the destination into an open-air art gallery. Spread across several emblematic locations in Crans-Montana, the works can be discovered while strolling through the resort. The exhibition runs until 5 April 2026.
- Another standout exhibition is ROOTS, at Fondation Opale until 12 April 2026, imagined by curator Samuel Gross. Drawing on the Garance Primat collection, this poetic journey, conceived as a narrative, gives shape to a vision of art as a universal language.
- The paintings of Amelie van M. Orssich, inspired by Alpine landscapes, forests and the light of Crans-Montana, can be discovered until 25 April 2026.
- The «Ça va toi?» (“How are you?”) exhibition explores young people's mental health and aims to open up conversation around mental health conditions and the taboos that still surround them. It is on view until 25 April 2026.
- In a more illustrative vein, the Meli Melo Nature exhibition presents the sensitive drawings of illustrator Gentiane, while a Julia Andrée-Walti exhibition showcases a selection of contemporary paintings.
Crans-Montana is also home to several art galleries that help shape the resort’s cultural life. These include spaces devoted to contemporary art and photography, featuring both international and emerging artists throughout the year. This concentration of galleries helps make Crans-Montana a genuine place of artistic discovery, for dedicated art lovers and curious visitors alike.
