10 ideas for family activities this autumn

1 September 2025

Crans-Montana is an ideal place to spend time with the whole family, with plenty of activities on offer for young and old alike. Here are our tips to make the most of an autumn break with the kids.

Climb from branch to branch in a treetop adventure park

If you're looking for thrills and challenges, check out the aerial courses at Fun Forest, on the banks of Lake Moubra. This adventure zone in the trees is fun for everyone as it offers different levels, for everyone age 2 upwards. Depending on how you are with heights, venture up into the trees on different aerial courses, where bridges, footbridges, zip lines, ropes and other platforms will delight thrill seekers!

Climb up the climbing walls

Improve your agility and strength at the Moubra climbing wall! This family-friendly sport is ideal as it has routes for all levels, as well as a children's area. A 500 m2 wall with a self-belaying section and a 150m2 bouldering area are available, as well as a children's zone for kids to have fun in complete safety.

Open every day. Benefit from a special price with My Explorer Card.

Try racquet sports

Crans Montana Sports Center offers a multitude of racquet sports for all ages and levels. Whether you're a seasoned tennis player or a beginner, you'll enjoy the two renovated indoor tennis courts and six outdoor clay courts. Try padel, which is growing in popularity thanks to its unique blend of tennis and squash. The sport’s simple rules and doubles format make it ideal for family fun. For badminton fans, two courts are available, guaranteeing fun and competition. You can also try pickleball, a sport which combines elements of tennis, padel, badminton and table tennis, which is played with a perforated ball and a solid-faced racket, and is ideal for all ages.

Investigate with Bibi

Enjoy an exciting family adventure with the new treasure hunt! Help Bibi the Marmot find his stolen treats by solving exciting riddles. Children will have to identify footprints, recognise silhouettes and listen to animal sounds to find clues. This entertaining and educational activity encourages them to observe and think while exploring Crans-Montana.

Collect your free game pack from any of the tourist offices, which are open every day.
