1 September 2025
Until 26 October 2025, holders of the My Explorer Card guest card can enjoy the mountains for free or at a reduced price. It is issued free of charge to anyone who pays the tourist tax (staying in a hotel, bed & breakfast, holiday apartment, campsite accommodation etc). All you have to do to get the card is stay for one night or more in Crans-Montana. It’s an ideal way to explore Crans-Montana for less! Read on for our tips on how to make the most of an autumn break, whether it’s a family, active or relaxing getaway, with the My Explorer Card.

Mini challenges and giant souvenirs at the minigolf!
Crans-Montana is well known as a golf destination par excellence. Before heading to the greens, families can try miniature golf for free, in an exceptional location on the banks of Lake Ycoor. Who will be the most skilful and win the game?
Family hikes
Head up high in the ski lift to Cry d'Er free of charge with the My Explorer Card (between 8 September and 26 October 2025) and try to spot marmots on the trail that shares their name. Who in the family will see the most marmots? On your way back to the centre of the resort, don't forget to walk along the squirrel trail! The forest is teeming with these little creatures. Some are even brave enough to come close to you, so don't forget to bring some nuts! And don't forget that there are plenty of other routes you can do with children. You’ll find them in our suggestions for family walks.
Take to the water on a pedalo
Admire breathtaking scenery while gently pedalling on the calm waters of Lake Grenon (until the beginning of November) or Lake Moubra (until mid-October). Taking to a pedalo on a mountain lake is an ideal activity, and free with the My Explorer Card, so you can share happy moments and relaxation with your family.
Climbing on the indoor climbing wall, for all levels and ages!
The Moubra climbing hall has a children's area, where little ones can have completely safe fun, with a self-belay section and a bouldering section. The hall offers a 500m2 wall and a 150m2 bouldering area, and around sixty routes up to 13.5 metres. Benefit from a special price with the advantage card.

Thanks to the free ski lifts with My Explorer Card between 8 September and 26 October 2025, the possibilities for hiking and biking are unlimited!
Set off on foot to climb the mountains
Head up high and admire the autumn colours in the mountains on a walk, for example on one of these three trails:
Speed down the downhill tracks
There are 3 downhill tracks which run through the ski area: a black run for the more adventurous, an accessible and technical red run, and a blue run for those who want to build their confidence.
Climbing cliffs and walls
Did you know that there are 47 climbing routes just a 15-minute walk from Cry d'Er? Take the Crans-Cry d'Er ski lifts to the top of the mountain and walk to the back of the Bella Lui chairlift, skirting the bars on the rocks and cliffs to the north. You'll find a range of routes ranging from 6a+ to 8a+ in an exceptional setting.
Would you rather train indoors? At the Moubra climbing gym you can climb walls over 13 metres high. Enjoy a special price with the advantage card.

Autumn is also an ideal time to take a little time to relax and unwind in a hotel with a spa. With the My Explorer Card which is issued at your hotel, you can explore and enjoy exploring the region at the same time as you are relaxing.
A little sport, but not too much
Admire the autumn scenery on a short hike. Take the cable car up to Cry d'Er (free between 8 September and 26 October 2025 with My Explorer Card), walk up to Chetzeron and enjoy the 360° view over the valley and the Rawyl dam, then descend to Merbé before taking the gondola back down. Along the way, you'll have an opportunity to see colourful urban art by the Vision Art Festival, painted on lots of walls in the mountains.
Rediscovering Australian Aboriginal art
Discover the "Beneath the reflections of the world" exhibition at the Fondation Opale, offering a 20% discount on the entry fee with the My Explorer Card, and be inspired by two outstanding figures in contemporary painting: Australian Aboriginal artist Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori (ca. 1924-2015) and American painter Forrest Clemenger Bess (1911-1977). Separated by the oceans, these two artists share a common ability to bring out reflections of inner worlds, hidden beneath the surface of the visible.
Soothing and relaxing
End the day with a moment of cocooning by booking a little time to relax at the Flocoon Spa by Cinq Mondes, which offers a 20% discount on a 20-minute treatment with My Explorer Card.
