The blue lakes, the "bisse" streams and the forests are all enhanced by nature, now adorned in red and gold. The region of Crans-Montana has everything to offer to nature lovers, not forgetting its breathtaking panorama of the highest peaks in the Alps.
This autumn, we've come up with 4 ideas for hiking to delight your eyes and discover some exceptional landscapes.
Between golden forests and crystal-clear streams, the Chemin des Contrées is much more than just an autumn walk. Stretching 15 km from Mollens to Icogne, it leads you through unspoilt nature, dotted with spectacular viewpoints and interpretive panels sharing the area’s hidden stories. A trail to enjoy in sections, perfect for slowing down, learning something new, and soaking in the colours of the season.

Nine lakes, ponds and reservoirs hollowed out to hold water stud the Crans-Montana region. This itinerary around the lakes invites you to explore the plateau passing from one to the next, making a few stops on terraces.
Some of these stretches of water are in the resort, others away from it, closer to nature. You can also swim in Lake Moubra in summer.

Following the flow of the bisse du Tsittoret, the walker goes from Vermala to the source of the Tieche. This walk requires a little legwork at the beginning, why not stop from time to time to admire the extraordinary views.
A few steps further, and a waterfall appears, then another and yet another, each one with its own character.

This Grand Bisse de Lens walk links the villages of Icogne and Chermignon-d’en-Bas (or the other way round). The hiker walks around the Chatelard hill, crowned by the Christ-Roi statue, enjoying impressive glances of the Rhone Valley.
Beware, some of the wall crossings can be difficult for people who are sensitive to vertigo.
