After a winter enjoying the snow, spring is on its way, to the delight of outdoor enthusiasts. It's time to put away your skis and get out your sports shoes, and switch from ski touring to trail running, from snowshoeing to hiking, or from skiing to cycling!
As you know, Crans-Montana offers an infinite range of sporting activities, whatever the season. Whether it’s staying in shape year round, preparing for summer sporting challenges or complementing the sports you do regularly, the destination has a vast choice of group classes such as Pilates, yoga, fitness or the free Urban Moving programme run by the municipality of Crans-Montana.

Every week, the municipality of Crans-Montana hosts its "Urban Moving" programme, a free initiative designed to encourage residents and visitors to adopt an active lifestyle while enjoying our region’s exceptional natural surroundings.
Urban Moving by Crans-Montana is much more than just a sports class - it's an invitation to get moving in the fresh mountain air and discover the potential for well-being that our environment offers. The sessions are led by professional coach Dave Schumann, and every participant is guaranteed to be challenged and motivated, whether they’re a beginner or a seasoned sports enthusiast.
Activities take place twice a week, between 15 April and 30 September 2024. On Mondays at 7 pm, the "Plaisir" class is open to everyone aged 16 upwards to senior citizens, and it offers an hour of exercise which is suitable for all levels. For those looking for something more intense, the «Transpir» sessions on Wednesday mornings at 6.30 am promise to get your heart racing.
The sessions are held at the Espace Rencontre Nature in Ycoor, a venue selected for its easy access and proximity to the « Crans-Montana Ycoor » bus stop, and also for its setting, which is perfect for connecting with nature.
It is free to take part in Urban Moving, but booking is required, to ensure optimum supervision and a personalised experience for everyone.

Urban Moving complements these activities perfectly. It prepares your body for long hikes or mountain bike rides through our Alpine landscapes, while offering a more urban and accessible approach to sport.
