Audi FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup Ladies 2019 Crans-Montana

Just a few days after the 2019 World Championships in Åre/SWE, the best skiers in the world will be in Crans-Montana to compete in the World Cup Downhill and Alpine Combined races programmed for 23 and 24 February (training on 21/22.02). Will we be seeing a rematch ? Suspense and emotion is sure to be running high ! Experiencing the atmosphere of an Alpine Skiing World Cup in Crans-Montana, and the array of additional entertainment, is a totally unique experience.
Crans-Montana is an key location for the women’s speed races. As the FIS International Ski Federation appreciate the demanding nature and attractiveness of the famous Mont Lachaux piste, they want to focus from now onwards on this type of race.
From the 2020/21 season onwards, Crans-Montana will see its races take place in the third week of January, a change that has been desired for a long time. Here are the dates planned for the next three years:
- 22/23 February 2020 > Downhill and Super-G
- 23/24 January 2021 > Downhill and Super-G
- 22/23 January 2022 > Downhill and Super-G
Crans-Montana continues to support up and coming athletes by organising races for the European Cup just a few days before the World Cup. For 2019 : two downhills are programmed, on 16/17 February.
