A very successful 16/17 winter season for our Ambassadors

17-18 December : Just after his second place at Copper Mountain on the Revolution Tour, our Ambassador Pat Burgener climbed to first place on the podium, beating the Olympic champion Iouri Podlatchikov, in the first heat of the Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup, which took place on the weekend of 17 and 18 December.

February 13th: Luca Aerni becomes World Ski Champion in St. Moritz.
March 5th: The Coubès Brothers, Louis and Aurélien, grab the first place on the podium at the “Tour Freestyle Romand” in Crans-Montana.
March 8th: Séverine Pont Combe wins the silver medal at the legendary Pierra Menta Mountaineering Ski Race, France.

Harold Primat | Car Racing

Date of birth: 12th June 1975

Specialities: Endurance races (Le Mans 24 Hours, Spa 24 Hours, etc.)

At just over 40 years old, Harold Primat has become one of the most versatile drivers of his generation. This nephew of the famous motorcyclist Claude Vigreux, the Franco-Swiss driver –  who’s been coming to Crans-Montana since the age of ten –  started his career karting, before joining several driving schools in France and Great Britain. He was pleased to move into endurance in 2003, and take part in the most prestigious races such as Le Mans 24 Hours and Daytona 24 Hours. His results match his talent. His steady steering and tactical intelligence give him credibility which is unanimously recognised in the world of racing.

Leitmotiv/aims: This year my main objective is to manage to reconcile my professional reconversion whilst staying on top physical form so that the results will follow in my various mountain bike marathon races.

Passions: Mountain biking, skiing, ski-mountaineering, walking. I’m lucky to have been able to live from my passion for cycling for 11 years. Something which is good for me, and which I’m passionate about, is not just the physical effort but also the contact with Nature which sports like skiing, ski-mountaineering and cycling bring us.

Objectives this season: Stay in the top 3 of Swiss athletes, iget into the world top 15, finish the season in one piece !  Main objective in the years ahead : Take part in the South Kprea Olympic Games in 2018, our sport might be a demonstration sport.

Passions: My passion is sport in general. But surfing is the cherry on the cake, whenever I get the chance I take off to ride waves. I like travelling a lot (for sport) and learning foreign languages.
Développing Ice Cross Downhill at a national level via the Swiss Ice Cross Downhill Association, of which I’m the president . Recruiting future athletes!
