The organisers are committed to making the festival accessible to everyone. We want each edition of the festival to represent a step forward in terms of accessibility.
This year, the initial measures that have been put in place will enable people with reduced mobility to take part in the festival. In the years ahead, we plan to extend these measures to cater for different types of disability.
The 2026 edition will be analysed with the help of external partners in order to improve in 2027 and for following editions.
Transport
Access by funicular
The Sierre-Montana funicular, which was fully renovated in 2022, is accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). Facilities have been designed to facilitate access to the platforms and cabins.
The number of places available for wheelchair users is limited to two per journey, for capacity and safety reasons. We therefore recommend that those affected plan their journey in advance, particularly during busy periods.
No prior booking is required to use the funicular.
SMC Shuttles
The shuttles serving the festival site are equipped with front or rear ramps allowing access for people with reduced mobility. No prior booking is required.
The vehicles also have a display and public address system that allows passengers to see and/or hear announcements of upcoming stops.
For more information, visit the Access and Transport page or contact the SMC transport company directly.
Parking
The Victoria car park, the Grand Signal car park and the Clovelli car park are located near the festival site, have spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility.
As the number of spaces is limited, we recommend that you plan your journey in advance and allow plenty of time to reach the festival site.

Quiet area
We recognise the importance of providing spaces where you can take a moment to step away from the hustle and bustle of the festival.
However as it is a festival, it is not possible to guarantee a completely silent area. We therefore advise those who are hypersensitive to noise sensitive to noise to bring suitable hearing protection, such as ear defenders or earplugs, if necessary.
Thursday and Friday are generally quieter days and may offer a more comfortable environment for those wishing to enjoy the festival in a less crowded atmosphere.
