Excursion pour famille
Randonnée en boucle
The Vermala Sprint is a short but intense stretch which offers everyone the chance to relive the best moments of cycling competitions which have stopped off in Crans-Montana.
This route could very well become a favourite for many cyclists due to its quite adventurous itinerary. In fact, the route uses sections of gravel roads and offers a totally unusual circuit passing through the village of Cordona. It requires good technical cycling skills due to its very steep unsealed slopes.
The departure point has been planned to link with «The Rhone Route», the no. 1 national route, which is the backbone of Valais cycling routes. It is in fact an uphill in tiers between Granges and Crans-Montana , often used by Steve Morabito in training.
This route is suitable for «cyclo-sportive» cycling. The route offers the pleasure of going through varied scenery in few kilometres ? forests, vineyards and the valley. Cyclists who take this route meet the challenge of climbing from the Rhone Valley up to the resort of Crans-Montana.
This route is for beginner cyclists, families cycling together, or «cyclo-leisure» cyclists. This bike ride is in the centre of the resort, it is a few kilometres long, and is suitable for any age, good physical fitness isn?t required.
