A winter wonderland in the mountains
A winter tradition in Crans-Montana, the Lantern Path is one of the season’s most beloved attractions. Each year, thousands of visitors come to experience its enchanting atmosphere, delighting both children and adults alike.
Set in nature just a short walk from the centre, this illuminated evening stroll captures the true magic of winter. Snow blankets the trees, footsteps crunch softly underfoot, and the gentle glow of lanterns creates a poetic scene as night begins to fall.
Throughout the winter months, the Jack Nicklaus golf course is transformed into a magical Lantern Path. Usually reserved for golfers, this elegant setting lights up and invites visitors to wander through a sparkling winter landscape in the heart of Crans-Montana.
Stretching for around 2 km, the route is accessible to all and takes about 45 minutes to complete. It is the perfect opportunity for a beautiful walk in nature, to be enjoyed with family or friends.
Following a theme that changes each year, original light installations appear along the path, creating visual worlds that transform the forest into a truly immersive and sensory experience.
The Hameau de Mayens transforms into a welcoming place to meet, share and discover artistic performances. With a programme renewed each winter, enjoy a series of special evenings where concerts and enchanting shows follow one another, bringing rhythm and atmosphere to the season.
