Séverine Pont Combe

Ski-Mountaineering

Date of birth: 28 June 1979

Brains and brawn, the perfect balance between family, professional and sporting success...a teacher, nature and mountain enthusiast, a young mother… Séverine Pont Combe turns everything she touches into gold. Trail running, mountain biking, walking and telemark skiing, among other disciplines, hold no secrets for this inhabitant of Mollens. But it is in ski-mountaineering that she has won most acclaim, as a multiple winner of the Patrouille des Glaciers, and with numerous medals – both individual and team – in the Swiss, European and World Championships. An authentic and charismatic ambassador for Crans-Montana.

Leitmotiv/goals

To be at the top of the rankings in the greatest ski-mountaineering races, but above all to continue to dance on skis and enjoy playing in the snow. Look up… the mountains are beautiful!

Passions

Running in the mountains and jumping from stone to stone, watching the full moon rise behind the mountaintops, immersing myself in a book and looking forward to opening it in the evening at bedtime, searching for ibex and chamois tracks with my daughters, sharing my love of nature with my family and watching my two daughters laugh and play. Travelling and dreaming.
