A Wake Park at an altitude of 1'500 metres

There's no need to choose between holidays in the mountains and watersports! In the heart of breathtaking Alpine panoramas, Crans-Montana is home to one of the very first high-altitude Wake Parks, and it is still one of the highest in the world today. It promises an extraordinary experience for all riders, whatever their background.

Glide on water… in the middle of the mountains

The image takes you by surprise. On the calm waters of the Étang Long lake, a board carves the surface pulled by an electric cable, while Alpine peaks rise up in the background. For over ten years, wakeboarders, wakeskaters and water-skiers have been coming to experience this amazing boarding area, perched at an altitude of 1,500 metres.

The Wake Park is easy to reach from the centre of the resort, and has become an unmissable summer rendezvous, where enthusiasts and the curious gather, impressed by the quality of the facilities, the friendly atmosphere and the spectacular scenery.

A playground for all levels

With its two cable lines, a 120 metre line for beginners and another 170 metre line for more experienced riders, the Wake Park is an ideal place to try the sport, to progress and to improve skills, whatever your level.

Children from age 8 upwards can safely learn from a professional team on Wake Academy courses. Meanwhile more experienced riders will find plenty of tricks, modules and accelerations. It's the perfect place to push your limits and enjoy the sensation of gliding on water.

«Having the opportunity to explore a lunar landscape at the Plaine Morte glacier and then wakeboard like you would at the beach, all in the same day, is a unique experience that you’ll never forget.»

A friendly place to meet at the water’s edge

Fancy a bit of relaxation? You don't have to skip the beach to enjoy the pure Alpine air. At the Etang Long Beach Club, deckchairs and parasols are set up on fine white sand so that you can enjoy the bar and restaurant in perfect tranquillity. And when summer is in full swing, the place is buzzing with concerts and outdoor entertainment.

With family or with friends, the Wake Park in Crans-Montana is the perfect place to experience the thrill of wakeboarding, or simply enjoy a convivial moment by the water for an original and refreshing summer activity!
