In Crans-Montana, cycling continues to take shape with the arrival of new flow trails designed to make the sport more accessible, whilst enhancing the experience for riders. These new trails complement the Bike Park by offering a smoother, more progressive and scenic approach to mountain biking.
The Arnouva Flowtrail perfectly embodies this evolution. It can be accessed directly from the Bike Park, yet it’s deliberately separate from the downhill tracks and offers a first taste of the world of downhill mountain biking. Spanning 2.5 kilometres with a 180-metre descent, the trail features a series of banked turns, natural curves and a gentle gradient that invites you to let go. There are no sudden changes in pace or excessive difficulties here: everything is designed to support beginners, families or riders looking to improve. The fun comes from the fluidity, reading the terrain and the sensation of gliding.
In a different vein, the Flowtrail Crans-Montana - Sierre offers a longer, more immersive riding experience. Fully redesigned and completed this year, the 9-kilometre trail links the resort to the valley floor in one continuous descent, with almost 905 metres of vertical drop. While not officially part of the Bike Park, it feels like a natural extension of the overall offering. The route combines bermed turns, mildly technical sections and faster stretches, all while remaining accessible to a wide range of riders.

The landscape gradually changes as you descend, moving from the sunny plateau to panoramic views over the Rhone Valley, until the trail takes you right to the outskirts of Sierre. This transition gives the route an almost narrative quality, where each turn accompanies a shift in atmosphere. The return journey, which is made easier thanks to the Sierre-Montana funicular, allows riders to do multiple descents without any logistical constraints.
With these new flow trails, Crans-Montana reaffirms its commitment to offering a more inclusive and varied mountain biking experience, where everyone can cycle at their own pace and find their own playground.
