With a network of 139 km of signposted mountain bike, Cross-Country and Enduro trails, 3 Downhill bike trails and dedicated E-bike routes, Crans-Montana offers a limitless playground and a variety of possibilities for all cyclists.
What do all these routes have in common? Impeccable signposting, unique elevation, varied natural landscapes and breathtaking panoramic views!
In terms of infrastructure, Crans-Montana has made every effort to cater for cycling fans. Several establishments hold the "Swiss Bike Hotels" label, there are lots of specialist shops and qualified guides on hand to welcome visitors looking for a cycling break.
The destination also boasts a transport system which has been optimised for cyclists: 3 bus routes and a funicular railway take cyclists from the valley up to the plateau. The ski lifts are also equipped to transport bikes on each of the 3 routes which link the plateau to the summits.
A number of recharging stations for electric bikes are available, alongside two bike washing stations, and maps (paper and online versions) showing mountain bike routes or detailing the three downhill bike routes.
In 2025, Crans-Montana will host the flagship cross-country discipline at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Valais.
