Pianist Mirabelle Kajenjeri and violinist Elias David Moncado, both laureates of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon, will perform in the auditorium of the Lens art centre to celebrate the release of the fifth album in the La Fondation Gautier Capuçon présente collection.
The album programme brings together a selection of luminous and contrasting works, where poetic lyricism meets dazzling virtuosity, showcasing the full expressive richness of the violin and piano repertoire:
- Johannes Brahms – Violin Sonata No. 2 in A Major, Op. 100
- Maurice Ravel – Violin Sonata No. 2 in G Major
- Franz Waxman, after Georges Bizet – Carmen Fantasy for violin and piano
- Claude Debussy – Beau soir (song, arranged for violin and piano)
- Lili Boulanger – Nocturne for violin and piano
- Manuel Ponce – Estrellita (arranged for violin and piano by Jascha Heifetz)
- Viktor Kosenko – Dreams for violin and piano
An apéritif will be served in the foyer from 5:00 pm, and the exhibition galleries will remain open until the start of the concert.
