The Lecture Hall
A comfortable, tiered space equipped with ultra-high-performance audiovisual equipment, designed to host conferences, assemblies, concerts, screenings and other artistic performances in ideal conditions.
The acoustic and thermal properties of the hall are optimised. The geometry of the concrete walls is accordion-shaped for short reverberation times. The wave-shaped wooden ceiling is perforated all over for good absorption. The walls radiate heat in winter and cold in summer to ensure adequate thermal comfort.
