The two young Coubès brothers, Louis and Aurélien, both passionate about speed, sliding and thrills, are the next generation of freestyle skiers and bikers. These talented youngsters from Neuchâtel got their start in biking and skiing at an early age, taking to the downhill slopes for the first time at the ages of 6 and 4.
Accompanied by their father, Olivier Coubès, who is just as passionate about these sports as they are, they are out on the slopes of Crans-Montana practically every day, living their passion to the full. Spotted in particular thanks to their video 'The Kids', which went around the world in 2015, but also through several reports on Swiss television, the Coubès Brothers are constantly on the lookout for new images, each as stunning as the next, and for progress.
The family has been living in Crans-Montana for 3 years now. They've taken over the old Hotel Colorado to create a B&B hotel, the Colorado Riders Chalet, a place and an atmosphere where everything revolves around sport. You're more than welcome to drop in and say hello, and why not take to the slopes with them on bike or skis.
So it's only natural that Aurélien, coached by his brother Louis, has become an ambassador for Crans-Montana.

My goal for next season is to win the different stages of the European Tour, which are compulsory stages for taking part in the World Cup.»

Aurélien is currently a commercial apprentice, specialising in hotels, gastronomy and tourism, and is lucky enough to be able to work in his family's hotel, the Colorado Rider Chalet. Alongside his apprenticeship, the young rider does physical training with his NLZ team in Brig, which requires a great deal of organisation. And that's not all: Aurélien also has to attend courses at the ECPA in Sion, with a modified timetable due to his adapted structure (SAF), and inter-company courses in Lausanne. Needless to say that our young ambassador never sees the weeks go by.
