Music is very much present in Crans-Montana, which has a classical music season with concert-events and high level violin masterclasses. Many festivals and music events take place all year round, to the joy of all kinds of music lovers, notably the "Caprices Festival", which was voted the best electro festival in the world, and which takes place every year in a dreamlike setting at an altitude of 2,200m.
