Cabane de la Tièche

The Cabane de la Tièche is a mid-altitude mountain hut (altitude 1987m) located in the Noble Contrée (Veyras, Miège, Venthône, Mollens, Randogne). Having been run privately for 30 years, it has recently changed hands and thanks to its new guardian, Jacky Beney, it is now open to the public.
Passionate about mountains and food, he has carried out various work and invested in promoting the hut in order to revitalise this under-used hut.

Additional information:
In winter, as the road to Aminona is closed to traffic, we offer a transport service by Snow Cat or snowmobile. A large car park is available at Aminona.
Also for snowsport fans (sledging, skiing, ski mountaineering, snowboarding...) we have equipment available, and can also drop you off by Snow Cat on the Petit Bonvin (2470m), at the top of the ski pistes where there is also a 6 kilometre long sledge run, which passes just next to the hut.
