Hiking & biking: a springtime to enjoy – With caution

1 May 2025

The gentle spring sunshine invites you to explore the exceptional landscapes of Crans-Montana. However, nature still bears the scars of the heavy snowfall that occurred in mid-April. The storms caused significant damage in the forests: hundreds of trees have fallen or remain unstable, making some trails unsafe or inaccessible.

Before setting off, we strongly recommend checking the current status of the route you plan to take. Our “Activities open today” page provides up-to-date information on available itineraries.
Tip: we regularly update the page with extra details as work progresses on the ground.

At present, many hiking trails are accessible, and road cyclists can already enjoy beautiful routes across the region. However, official mountain biking trails are not yet open.

Caution remains essential, especially in forested areas, where access is still not recommended. Please respect the signage—for your safety and that of our teams. Our crews are actively working to make all routes safe and accessible again. This careful work will continue over the coming weeks.
