Air-Glaciers is an aviation company based in Sion, created in 1965. Our main mission is helicopter rescue, therefore we offer a rescue card for CHF 35.- per calendar year or CHF 80.- per family, to cover your rescue costs in Switzerland, whatever kind of transport is used and from anywhere in Switzerland : ambulance, helicopter, SMUR emergency services... In addition, we offer scenic flights by helicopter and by plane, and heliski flights such as Chermignon - Wildhorn ; Arbaz - Wildhorn ; Chermignon - Pigne d'Arolla ; Chermignon - Petit Combin ; Chermignon - Testa Grigia ; Chermignon - Monte Rosa ; Sion - Wildhorn etc. We also offer taxi flights by helicopter and plane, on request. Our drone service enables us to do search and rescue flights, photo flights, all kinds of inspection flights such as for fires, big buildings, areas with difficult access, bridges, power lines, agricultural areas etc. We also transport material by helicopter.

We have a training centre for our aeroplane and helicopter flying school. And we offer a variety of different training courses to the public, such as : Rescue and first aid for avalanche victims, crevasse rescue, difficult terrain rescue, mountain hiking rescue, via ferrata rescue, canyon rescue, medical classes for future A patrollers, BLS-AED-SRC resuscitation. In addition, we offer specific courses for businesses, such as rescue and first aid in forest accidents, working at height «lattice pylons and concrete masts », work with rope access, working at height «cable cars», firefighters «helicopter response», placing an intravenous drip and injections, advanced training for patrollers «using painkillers», classes for business – First Aid at work, PALS® (Pediatric ADV Life Support) etc.
