Welcome to the Jules Duc et Fils cellar in Ollon (VS). Jean-Alexis Duc, a graduate of the Ecole d'Oenologie in Changins, runs a 7 hectare domain located mostly in the commune of Sierre. The first bottles from the cellar founded by Jules Duc were produced back in 1959. In 1991, his son, Jean-Alexis, took over the family business and expanded it. The handover between these two wine fans was smooth. For a long time the only vintner in Ollon, Jules Duc was one of the first in the region to produce Chardonnay. He was also one of the pioneers of the rebirth of Cornalin. Today, Jean-Alexis follows his example, as he has recently planted the Rèze, a long-abandoned grape variety.
