Place du Village 5
1978 Lens
The Café de l'Union in Lens has existed for over 100 years. Entirely renovated this winter, it is managed by Valérie and Karim, from Fribourg and Ticino, but now local "Lensards" for the past 4 years. They have been able to come up with a varied menu for all tastes. The Thai chef proposes a speciality from his home country every week, as well as local, vegetarian and gluten-free specialities. An organic goats’ cheese eclair, ‘homemade’ smoked salmon with bread pine cones, or a whole fish ‘à la plancha’…just a preview of the delicacies that you can savour in a friendly village atmosphere.
The hotel part has 8 rooms, 4 of which have been completely renovated, with private bathrooms.
